SENILITY AND DEATH
The
elderly feel deprived. Their work life is over. Their enthusiasm is low, energy is low. Their children are now grown up and
busy with their own lives. Their daughters are now mothers with no time for them. Their sons are often separate living their
own lives and busy with their own work.
The
Elderly are lonely. They are many a time bedridden. Their complexes are at their highest with complex elements carried over
from various stages of living, without solutions.
And
Life is nearly over. They are now afraid of Death, Disease , Disability and being Bedridden. The endlesswait for ceratin death,
the depressions of Life along with the frustrations of not being able to cope with their immortal attitude kills them. This
may be termed as the Death Complex.
One
has to contemplate and work through all the stages to avoid this. One has to long ago shed the illusion of immortality and
face life in its ‘such ness’.
