MIND COMPARTMENTS
Sigmund Freud first attempted dividing the mind into Conscious and Unconscious
States.
The Conscious Mind is fully aware of all thoughts governing resultant behavior while
the Unconscious Mind is unaware of the thoughts governing resulting behavior.
The Unconscious Mind is further divided into sub compartments:
a) EGO – What ONE thinks HE IS, instead of what
he should be
b) SUPER EGO –
What ONE thinks HE SHOUD BE, as dictated
by his God, Gospel, Philosophy, Ideals and Conscience.
c)
ID – Ones Thought and Behavior governed by Instincts
d) LIBIDO –
Ones Thought and Behavior governed by Sexual
Instinct
